RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Last updated: 29 September 2026
At Dummyroses, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights and the procedures for cancellations, returns, exchanges and refunds when shopping at Dummyroses.store.
This policy applies to purchases made by consumers through our online store and is intended to comply with applicable United Kingdom consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Nothing in this policy affects or limits your statutory rights.
1. 30-Day Return Policy
We offer a 30-day return period from the date you receive your order.
To request a return, please contact us within 30 days of delivery at:
Email: support@Dummyroses.store
Please include:
-
Your full name;
-
Your order number;
-
The email address used to place the order;
-
The item or items you wish to return; and
-
The reason for the return, where applicable.
After receiving your request, we will provide you with the appropriate return instructions.
Please do not send goods to an address other than the return address provided by us.
2. Your Statutory Right to Cancel
If you purchase goods online, you normally have a statutory right to cancel your contract without giving any reason.
You may notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase within 14 days beginning on the day after you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.
Where an order contains several items delivered separately, the cancellation period normally starts after the final item from that order has been received.
After notifying us of your decision to cancel, you must normally send the goods back within a further 14 days.
You may notify us of your cancellation by emailing:
You are not required to use any particular wording, provided that your decision to cancel is clear.
Our voluntary 30-day return policy gives you additional time to request a return and does not replace or reduce your statutory cancellation rights.
3. Condition of Returned Items
During the statutory cancellation period, you may inspect and handle goods only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way that you would normally be permitted to inspect them in a physical shop.
For clothing, this normally means that you may carefully try an item on.
We may make an appropriate deduction from a refund where the value of an item has been reduced because it has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary.
For returns made under our voluntary 30-day return policy after the statutory cancellation period, items should normally be:
-
Unworn, other than for trying on;
-
Unwashed;
-
Free from stains, odours or damage;
-
In resalable condition;
-
With original tags attached, where applicable; and
-
Returned with the original packaging where reasonably possible.
These conditions do not restrict your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged, defective, misdescribed or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
4. Return Shipping Costs
For a return made because you have changed your mind, you will normally be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us, provided that we informed you of this responsibility as required by law.
We strongly recommend using a tracked postal or courier service and retaining proof of postage until your refund has been completed.
If the goods are faulty, damaged, defective, incorrect or not as described, Dummyroses will bear any reasonable return costs where required by applicable consumer law.
Please contact us before returning such goods so that we can provide suitable return instructions.
5. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied by Dummyroses must, where applicable:
-
Be of satisfactory quality;
-
Be fit for their intended purpose;
-
Match their description;
-
Match any model or sample relied upon when purchasing; and
-
Otherwise conform to the contract.
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, defective, incorrect or not as described, please contact:
Include your order number and a description of the problem. Photographs may help us resolve your request more quickly, but requesting photographs does not remove any statutory rights you may have.
Short-Term Right to Reject
Where goods do not conform to the contract, you may have a statutory short-term right to reject them within 30 days, subject to the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Where this right applies, you may be entitled to a refund.
Repair or Replacement
After the short-term right to reject has expired, you may be entitled to request a repair or replacement where required by law.
Any legally required repair or replacement must be carried out within a reasonable time, without significant inconvenience to you, and at no necessary cost to you.
Price Reduction or Final Right to Reject
Where a repair or replacement is impossible, unsuccessful, or cannot be completed within a reasonable time without significant inconvenience, you may have the right to an appropriate price reduction or the final right to reject the goods, subject to applicable law.
Your statutory rights may continue beyond the periods stated in our voluntary return policy.
6. Refunds
Once a return has been received and inspected, we will process the refund in accordance with your statutory rights and this policy.
For a statutory cancellation of an online purchase, we will issue any refund due without undue delay and no later than 14 days after:
-
We receive the goods back; or
-
You provide evidence that you have returned the goods,
whichever occurs first.
We may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or until you provide evidence of having sent them back, where permitted by law.
Refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise.
We do not charge a refund or restocking fee for exercising your statutory right to cancel.
Please note that your bank, card provider or payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account after we issue the refund.
7. Original Delivery Charges
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel an entire order, we will refund the basic or standard delivery charge paid for that order where required by law.
If you selected a delivery method that was more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional amount paid for the upgraded delivery service.
For returns made solely under our voluntary 30-day return policy after the statutory cancellation period has ended, original delivery charges are not refundable unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed by Dummyroses.
8. Partial Returns
If you purchased several products in one order, you may return individual eligible items.
Where only part of an order is returned, any refund of the original delivery charge will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the order.
9. Exchanges
Where stock is available, we may offer an exchange for another size or eligible item.
Please contact:
If an exchange cannot be provided, you may return the eligible item for a refund and place a new order.
Our exchange procedure does not affect any statutory right to a refund, repair, replacement, price reduction or rejection where those rights apply.
10. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel
The statutory right to cancel may not apply to certain categories of goods specified by law.
Examples may include:
-
Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
-
Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
-
Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken;
-
Sealed audio recordings, video recordings or computer software once unsealed;
-
Goods which, after delivery, become inseparably mixed with other items; and
-
Other goods or services expressly excluded from cancellation rights under applicable law.
An exception to the right to cancel because you have changed your mind does not remove your statutory rights where goods are faulty, defective, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
11. Sale and Promotional Items
Items purchased during a sale, discount, promotion or other special offer retain the same statutory consumer rights as full-price items.
Where an item qualifies for return under this policy, the refund will be based on the amount actually paid for that item, subject to applicable law.
12. Orders Cancelled Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible at:
If cancellation is possible before dispatch, we will cancel the order and refund any amount due.
If the order has already been dispatched, you may still exercise your applicable return or cancellation rights after delivery.
13. Refused or Uncollected Deliveries
Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not necessarily constitute valid notice of cancellation.
If you wish to cancel your contract, you should clearly notify us at:
Any refund will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law after the goods have been returned to us.
14. Proof of Purchase
We may request reasonable proof that an item was purchased from Dummyroses.
Acceptable evidence may include:
-
Order confirmation;
-
Order number;
-
Payment record; or
-
Other reasonable evidence of purchase.
15. Your Statutory Rights
This policy provides contractual and voluntary rights in addition to your rights under United Kingdom consumer law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or otherwise affect rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
In particular, our 30-day return policy does not mean that all your legal rights end after 30 days.
